Conditions of Entry to the An Turas Beag 2008. A registration fee of €300 per team must be enclosed with the registration form, payable to Adventure Racing Ireland. This is non-refundable under any circumstances. If you have a medical condition that could be affected by serious trekking or if you are over 65, you must get written clearance from your doctor prior to taking part. In signing the conditions you confirm that your general state of health and fitness is good and that you take full responsibility for yourself. You understand that the event will involve strenuous running/cycling/canoeing and that you need to achieve an adequate level of fitness in order to participate in the event. Before the departure of the event if you have any concern whatsoever about your physical fitness or health that might affect your safe participation you will consult the opinion of your doctor. All instructions given to you on the event must be observed for your own safety and success of the event. All dietary requirements must be submitted on the entry form. The organisers reserve the right to change the route and/or the location of the event as necessary. If paying by credit card you authorise Adventure Racing Ireland to debit your credit card for the amount indicated by me on your registration form. You certify that the information provided by you on the registration form is to the best of your knowledge true and correct. You understand that if any of the information provided by you on this form is found to be false, you risk losing your place on An Turas Beag. You apply to take part in An Turas Beag and undertake to abide by the ‘Conditions of Entry’ of the event. You shall not hold the Organisers, Sponsors, Benefactors or any of their volunteers/employees/agents/ sub-contractors responsible for any injury, accident, loss or damage to person or property during the course of the event.
