An Turas Beag, the new name for the Irish
Adventure Challenge will take place on Saturday May
10th, 2008. This event will host the media launch of An Turas Mór,
the first ever World Series race in Ireland. This race will take
place from June 14-21,

Tickets for Turas Beag Party - the "eccentric" picnic available
here for €20 .
Competitors have free access to the Party, and we are selling only
100 tickets for family and friends. No one will be allowed in without
a ticket, no tickets available on the day and we expect the 100 tickets
to sell out! Tickets include Bar-B-Q dinner, with pigs roasting on
sticks, African Drummers, Live Bands and a party ‘til all hours.
Camping is included in the ticket price and is available in the tented
village, bring your own tent, sleeping bag and musical instrument.

to 40 teams of competitors, plus an elite category open to 20 adventure
racers competing as individuals to become the Irish Adventure Challenge Champion
(The Fittest Person in Ireland!)

teams
of
2, €150
for
individuals,
with an optional but encouraged €200 to raise for charity. This includes
2 nights camping, breakfast before the race, the event itself, and the
post-race
bash.
